Development Plan Representations

All Council’s now have a responsibility to update their local planning policies. The Council’s Local Plan sets out its policies on how development proposals will be considered and allocates land for specific uses such as for housing or employment. As part of the process of preparing a Local Plan a Council must consult with landowners and the public on the most appropriate sites to be allocated.

APC will prepare representations to the Council to promote client’s sites for new development. These representations demonstrate the availability, suitability and deliverability of sites for the proposed use, such as housing.
